Just before Christmas, my Co-Founder at Second Squared Lui Pangiarella and I travelled across the Pacific to attend the annual Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition Search Fund Conference at Harvard Business School in Boston.

We also met with the Search Fund Community (investors, searchers, analysts and others) there, and in San Francisco.

We’ve learned heaps and have begun to apply our new knowledge and connections to building the Search Fund community here in Australia.

On Wednesday 20 February we’d love to:

• Share that knowledge with you,
• Update you on the fast pace of growth in the Search Fund sector, and
• Launch the first ever Accelerating Private Entrepreneurship Program – Getting Search Ready for Searchers in Australia (starting in June 2019).

We are also pleased to announce that Jamie Restas and Nima Sedaghat, Partners at HWL Ebsworth have kindly offered to host the event in their Perth offices.

HWL Ebsworth is a full-service commercial law firm providing expert legal services in every State and Territory in Australia. Jamie and Nima have advised on and established a number of fund structures and are currently establishing one of the first traditional search fund structures in Australia.
